Horizontal Milling Machine

I have been dreaming of getting a milling machine for quite some time. Patience was rewarded when a bargain come up. While most hobby machinists want a vertical mill, the horizontal ones are generally more solid. They do require a different approach to work holding but not too different.

The millĀ is of unknown origin, likely Taiwan. It is 3 speeds, graduations are 0.1mm per division. All hardware is metric. The spindle is 1.125-12 thread, same as Myford etc..

Below are links to the postings relating to my machine and its use.
